    14u Lady Tiger Futures - 2 openings

The Lady Tigers 14u Futures team, coached by Dave Maddaluna, is looking to add one or two players to our roster. We are looking for a strong first baseman/utility player, and very strong pitcher/utility player, someone who is a strong and proven "A" bracket pitcher who is willing/able to travel extensively with a family who is highly supportive of this teams goals to showcase our players in the best tournaments and showcase opportunities in the Southeast.

This team is very strong and is competitive, as a new 14u team this past fall, comprised of all 2001 birthdays, we went 38-12 and won 3 of 6 tournaments in ASA and NSA events, and finished 5-1 in our first showcase event to end the season.

HIghlights of our 2015 Spring/Summer Schedule:
February - USC Upstate team Camp
March - Turf Wars VII, Birmingham, AL
April - King of Mountain, Atlanta
June - Scenic City Classic Showcase, Chattanooga, TN
    June - Elite SHowcase, Atlanta
July - Atlanta Legacy Showcase, Atlanta
July - TCS World Series, Myrtle Beach, SC
The remainder will be SC ASA, NC NSA events in Spartanburg and Rock Hill.

This is an aggressive schedule that requires commitment from player and family from a time and expense perspective. The players we lost were not up for this type of schedule. We will consider players from out of state who can make our weekend practices, would also consider a 2000 birthdate given we plan to move to 16u in the Fall.

Our organization has existed since 2009, and now has teams from 8u through 18u college showcase. We have a 12,000 sq foot training facility and have 2 college coaches currently coaching our 16u and 18u teams.

We will look at players in January and February during our Saturday morning practices, or anytime after as we get outdoors.

It is the goal of the coaching staff to provide an environment to develop the individual skills of each of our players to the best of our ability. We will also emphasize to all members the importance of team play and accomplishing our goals as a team. We know that we will incur failure over the course of the year, but understand that making mistakes is an opportunity to learn.

Although individual awards and accolades are great, it is our belief that nothing beats accomplishing goals as a TEAM, because when the team succeeds, we all succeed, no matter what individual role we played in that success. And we want to promote the success of all travel ball players, not just Firecrackers.
