    Forest Hills will scrimmage Anson 8/16/11. Go Jackets!

    West Brunswick will scrimmage Chapel Hill 8/11/11 and all day scrimmage at Jack Britt 8/13/11

    UA Cardinals

    Union Academy will be scrimmaging Parkwood High Aug 15th at Parkwood. UA opens the season on the road with Queens Grant at Carolina courts Aug 22nd.

    Lake Norman High School (4A) has a 3-way scrimmage scheduled this Thursday starting at 3:30. The games will be played at LKN off Doolie Rd.

    2010 3A State Runner Up North Iredell vs. 2010 2A State Champion Starmount Tues. August 16 at North Iredell. Starmount returns most everyone and North returns 5 starters and added a 6'3" MB. Should be a great test for both schools to start the season

    UA/Parkwood scrimmage

    Union Academy had a good scrimmage with Parkwood today as they swept the day, UA JV won the best of 3 games (2 games to 1).
    Union Academy's Varsity started out slow by losing the first game 25-19 but rebounded to win the next 3 games 25-23, 25-17, and 25-21 to win the match.
    It was a good scrimmage as the Cardinals seen what they have to work on. The Cardinals open the season with Queens Grant Aug. 22nd and it will be played at Carolina courts.

    Forest Hills Varsity played well against Sun Valley last night and took the win. Glad to see the team coming together.

    It does sadden me to see the lack of sportsmanship from the parents. I witnessed a parent scream at one of the athletes (not their own child) last night and I dont see where we as parents have the right to scream at any athlete.

    At least the athletes know how to act!

    Union Academy at Forest Hills

    ""VARSITY"" Good game between both schools as Forest Hills took the 5 set match 3-2. Forest Hills took the first 2 games 25-17 and 25-18 before UA came together and won the next 2 games 25-20 and 25-8 to set up a up and down game 5 as Forest Hills won the game 20-18.
    Ophelia, as for your post about sportsmanship, Forest Hills parents showed great sportsmanship for there players as they got behind them when they needed it. I didn't witness any screaming at any players from the parents.
    It was a good game and looking forward to the next one with you guys.

    Forest Hills swept Union Academy in JV action 2-0.
