    This was great for the kids!!!!....

    ....Broughton v. Cary. Both teams playesdvery well. Cary has a few kids who can bring it. Rosenbaum the pitcher had a couple of hard hits, and I'm sorry to leave out a couple of names here, but I just don't know them . Broughton won 5-0. Chelsea Roof pitched an awesome game. The really cool part today is that a few kids who have, well, politelty speaking, limited fastpitch experience, STEPPED UP!. I mean, on the money throws from 1st to 3rd, with the LF covering; a LITTLE girl, maybe 95 lbs. fielding a hard hit ball down the rightfield line and coming up throwing to 2nd, a bb, to get an out of a kid from Cary who TB needs to look into. This kid can RUN. Anyway, very positive day for a team that won't win many games but will remember this one!
