    (1) Mount Pleasant 10
    (5) Forest Hills 6

    WP K. Reynolds / 4 SO's / 1 BB / 11 Hits
    LP Williams / 3 SO's / 4 BB / 8 hits

    After (5) Forest Hills defeated (4) South Stanly last night, they came ready to play # 1 seed Mount Pleasant tonight. Breaking out early, with some good hitting they took a
    6 - 1 lead going into the 5th inning. Bottom of 5th, Mount's bats finally woke up and rallied for eight runs. Defense held Forest Hills for the remaining two innings and Mount scored one more run in the 6th to win 10 - 6.
    Notable bats for Mount were J. Parnell with a RBI single in the 2nd and a 2 run HR in the 5th. A. Starnes had a 2 RBI triple in the 5th and E. Lewis and T. Miller each had an RBI.
    Mount goes to the Championship game tomorrow night against the winner of tonights
    N. Stanly / W. Stanly game. Tomorrows game will be at S. Stanly at 7:00.

    Awsome game!

    Central Davidson-3
    Ledford-2

    This game was a great game to watch. Miss C Leonard was at her usual awsome! K Murphy on the bump for Ledford never backed down! Both teams played outstanding D and hits were at a minimum. It came down to the last play in the 7th.
    E. Byrd got clutch hits twice to get runs in for Ledford. Aggressive running and well executed base running by Central D. forced the run they needed. Kudos to Central for a hard fought win. Ledford you took one of the top teams in the State to the hilt! Complete team effort by both.

    Believe CC's defense was still at the prom ! Seemed like more than 5 errors to me. Oh well. if your gonna have a bad game, that was the one to have.
