I don't know about that but the kid made some big shots last night. He has no memory, if he misses one it don't matter because he don't recall. That's a good thing to have as a shooter.

Either that or a lot of nerves. Eli Miller is Mcdowell's leading scorer at the half with 9; don't think that has happened all year. I listened to the last 3 minutes of the 1st half and I don't think that Kincaid was on the floor at all.

McDowell wins 49-43. I think McDowell was up by 11, 45-34, but AC hit 3 straight 3 pointers to cut it to 45-43. McDowell got free throws by Miller, then Barnett for the winning margin.

AC started fouling with 4 minutes left in the 4th qt and it turned out to be good strategy by the coach. MHS missed way to many free throws down the stretch and that allowed AC to get back in the game.

    Buggy was named Tournament MVP.

    McDowell- 49
    ACHS- 43

    McDowell Scoring
    Petey Hausley- 15 points
    Terrance Kincaid- 15 points
    Eli Miller- 9 points
    Brian Twitty- 3 points
    Jordan Dalton- 3 points
    Brock Barnett- 2 points
    Corey Ruiz- 2 points

    ACHS Scoring
    Ryan Hargave- 14 points
    Ethan Ford- 12 points
    Justin Mayberry- 7 points
    Daniel Rauscher- 6 points
    Thomas Ferguson- 2 points
    Jonathan Dockery- 2 points

Not a very good shooting game for either team. What hurt ACHS was that they just went cold and couldnt hit any of the shots they normally would. In the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined, ACHS scored only 11 points. McDowell didnt shoot well either. The Titans biggest lead was 11 then ACHS cut the lead to 2 with 22 seconds left and McDowell knocked down some free throws. The officiating was awful through out the game.

    All Tournament Team
    Dustin Beck- East Burke
    Ethan Kincaid- Freedom
    Ryan Hargrave- ACHS
    Daniel Rauscher- ACHS
    Petey Hausley- McDowell

MVP of Tourney- Terrance "Buggy" Kincaid- McDowell
