2 New Antivirus Scams!!!

Well the hackers are at it at it again!!! We downloaded 2 antivirus scams similar to the "Green AV" outbreak last year. First one is AntivirusGT, which is downloaded onto your system after opening an infected file, it wll install a light blue and yellow shield and ask you to run a system scan, it will keep telling you ...your files are infected and request that you purchase the software.

The other is "Security Tool" and installs a blue shield with a "gear symbol" inside the shield. And this one is is so "pesky" I was ready to throw the computer out the window!!! It will keep giving pop-ups saying your infected and the more you X them out the faster they come. So if you encounter these "russian" bugs (yeah they are from the USSR) Keep your cool and first you have to uninstall them.

Go to youtube and they explain how to uninstall both. Run a complete scan on your system and I just re-installed a "clean new" version of "vista" to make sure. The viruses originated on facebook and are hidden in links such as weight loss, refinancing your homes and other spam. Trust me folks these things are HELL to get rid off, so be careful.

The "Green Av" scam was bush league due to some obvious reasons, however these are loaded onto your system and start performing scans without prompting and will fool a lot of folks. These guys are getting better and more technical, so beware!


Damn those hackers, I say death penalty to those abusing the internet, it's my only escape from my wife!!!
