18U V. 23U scrimmages

    I understand the whole TB dynamic with showcase ball, and obviously $$$ stuff, given all that I wonder if a Sat. or Sun doubleheader would be of any interest.
    The only two 23U coaches that I know of right now are Charlie Dobbins and Todd Bradley.
    If some of the coaches in TBR land want to play, contact the Mods and I'm sure that they will pass along how to hook up with these two coaches.
    When I stopped coaching my DD, "on the field,lol" the team that she played 18u for would have a cool cookout gig while 2 or 3 teams duked it out.
    The kids loved it, the parents loved it and it provided quality competition for the kids and it cost pretty much nothing. Most folks would bring either drinks, paper products, hot dog buns, ice, etc.
    Certainly getting 16U and 18U kids in front of as many coaches possible is first and foremost, but in the meantime, or better yet, practice time, its hard to dis facing live pitching and live game play.
