Looking for some tournaments/showcases that we can put our team in over the next couple of months in and around the Charlotte area. Don't mind traveling as long as its within reason.

    Suggestions please!!

    Tournament Info in your area

throwtheheat, I can put in a good word for the copperhead tournaments. Our team (Carolina Titans from the Raleigh/Durahm area) have been in the copperhead tournaments and was pleased. Check them out.
Also in your area is Crystal Carolina sports. They are part of USSSA and in the Charlotte/Gastonia/Hickory area they do a good job with there tournaments. When we want to play other teams we haven't seen before and the boys feel like they are really playing for something we play there. There website is: www.crystalcarolinasports.com Contact Don Mason for information.
Another couple of sites you might want to look at are: Myrtle Beach Sports www.myrtlebeachsports.org They also do a good job.
Also in the Greensboro area check out Carolina Sports at www.carolinasports.org.
Some of the true showcase's are by invitation and you have to make contact with the people at those tournaments such as the Catamount Classic at Western Carolina, East Carolina Invitational at ECU, Erath Invitational at Highpoint University ect.ect... Some of the other posters on here may be able to share more information about the showcases above.
Also check out Impact Baseball's website. They have showcases also but more in my area than in the Charlotte area.
    Hope this helps some.

    Get Local Games

If you have a competitive team with known coaches then I'm sure you could find a local team willing to play a doubleheader on weekends. Area showcase teams such as On Deck, South Charlotte Panthers, Charlotte Express, Megastars, etc.... give them a call and be willing to put up some money for the umpires....
