10-19-07 Weather Watch...

As of 10:30 am there are numerous showers scattered all around North Carolina. The rear edge of the weather is now entering into the Great Smokies and should be progressing east into the foothills and piedmont by early to mid afternoon. Only concern for later today would be a possible organization of storms heading east of the mountains. My guess is that by game time everybody Greensboro and west should be for the most part done with the rain. But as you know the decision to call games are made early in the afternoon. Any sunshine that pops out down east increases the potential for severe weather later in the day.
