    Four-year starters Kaitlyn Wernsing (Carolina Cardinals) and Meredith Felts (Carolina Wildcats) were rewarded for their years of hard work Friday by winning the CAA tourney and an NCAA regional berth. It marks JMU's first ever conference title and the first time any team other than Hofstra has won the CAA championship. Felts, a three-time all conference selection, pitched a one-hit shutout versus Hofstra to open the tournament and also won the championship game. She was named the tournaments' outstanding player.
