Well, the end of my 16u season is getting closer and closer. I'll be heading off to the USFA World Series in Panama City this week and after I come back I'll be looking to move up to an 18u team. So if I could get any information on some 18u teams that will soon be looking for players I'd greatly appreciate. There is also a big factor in it all... I can most likely only travel up to 1 1/2 hours away and I live in the Goldsboro area. If you'd like anymore information, just ask.

My season is now over, finishing in the top 10 out of 40 in Panama City. I will be 17 next month I'm a rising senior, and I have 12 yrs of ball experience w/ 5 yrs of travel ball. I mainly catch but I also play short-stop, where I played on school ball this yr, and I can play outfield. I have a pretty solid bat, and very smart when it comes to running the bases. I'm completely dedicated to the game, and I would like to find a team who's going to help better me as a player and help me to get into college. For more info you can contact me at (919)920-1661.

Well.... so far no luck w/ any teams. I keep seeing so many of the younger age groups having try-outs but no 18u teams that aren't 4 hours away. It's hard to believe that the sport you love soo much can be so hard on ya at times... LoL.

I know how it is for players not showing up to practice. On one of the 16u teams I played for I think the whole year the most players we had at practice was 6. I guess some girls just start losing interest, but I'm glad to hear that the 12 yr olds stepped up. Thanks for the encouragement and good luck to your team.
