WNC All-State Players Players(1A-4A)

    just curious ........if you could pick two players from each classification,
    who would they be?

    some may not know:

    we do have voters who post and lurk, so if you have thoughts and stats/facts, its time to hear it now as the voting is in progress!

    i only follow 4a.i think destiny covington and stephanie beatty are both having great years for cc.

    destiny is an outstanding choice and imo.........the best in 4A (MS SOFTBALL) but we know how Pitchers normally get that MVP Award.

    MVP= most valuable player
    MVP= most valuable pitcher............maybe the State needs two awards

    sorry, another thread perhaps :thinking:

    oh yeah in 4A...Meredith O'Connor is my other 4A choice

    Emily Forbes, SR, UNCC signee, Catcher/OF, St Stephens HS

    Brooke Isley, SR, NC State signee, Pitcher, Southern Alamance HS


    Forbes, a 2003 All-State selectee and #3 in the voting for the 2003 Miss Softball award, bats over .600 overall and .506 in the Southwestern Foothills 3A conference which included 34 RBIs, 12 doubles, 6 triples,1 homerun and supports a .847 slugging percentage. Career batting avg of .433, 100 rbis, 27 doubles, 12 triples and 3 HRs (note: several of these numbers will make the recordbooks)

    Isley, also a 2003 All-State receipent and was named 2003 Miss Softball winner but i dont have any stats for this year as SAHS has been quietly winning with her anchoring the mound duties and perhaps staying under the radar....

    Kasey Camp, SS from Kings Mtn is the bomb! Outstanding Job and has all the qualities! Play SB and leave the VB to the taller players :D

    Cagney Davis, P, East Rutherford......outstanding hitter to go along with her pitching skills but two other Cavs are worthy too..Samatha Rich, OF, JR and or Heather Burns, SS/C, JR

    Brittany Lehrschall, NB, SR,P, ETSU signee, All-State 2003, MS Softball in 1A also in 2003 and has lead her team back to Raleigh

    Hedi McNeill, North Moore,SR, P, All State in 2003 and she has lead her team to their fourth straight championship weekend at "the Creek"

    HM: Walls sister(Angie and Abby) should both be all state, they are the best sister combo to play hs ball in WNC..IMO!!

    Dana Robbins, 3B at North Moore is a tuff one too! :D
