    I'm going to ask LarryD to spin off "The Next Level" to baseball and softball.

    Two things to keep in mind:
    1. I understand why some college posts get posted here because it gets "muddied" over there....and at times, a particular thread gets overlooked because most people tend to come to the baseball forum.

    2. We will never be able to develop the "Next Level" forum if we post college threads in here. This is not a complaint and I certainly understand the motive, but I would love to see it develop.

    There are quite a few ex-HS players, coaches and families that read our forum that have moved on to college and it's a perfect place to post info on, but it is time to spin off...what do you guys/gals think?

    I just think that things get overlooked on the next level thread and that things should just all be kept in the baseball forum. Just my opinion...

    yet I may be wrong??? I have no problem with college material being here just that it makes things more congested when some people are wanting to look for and see HS info! This was the reason to begin the thread in the 1st place ! IF i see a new post in the next thread i go there immediately or after visiting here simple as that! I would suspect baseball people will would do the same regardless if they are a true "fan" Alot of the traffic up their doesn t exist because they will not be a part of that at some point? Again baseball people will go there as threadds come up Just my honest opinion!?? What do ya think? :banana:

    Honestly, I believe that the majority of people on this website just love hearing about baseball... whether it be HS or College. The Next Level area is fine, but everytime I go there I see softball stuff and no offense, I just close the window or come back to the Baseball section.

    as any good baseball fan would do.........not us softball fans though.

    Next Level is just that and our softball people love it :xyzthumbs

    I think for the baseball fans to have a forum for college baseball would entice everybody in here to check it out.

    I'm like "O"..after leaving here I always go to that forum...but I like softball too...even though I don't have girls in my family, I love reading about how hard those girls work and the schools they are attending.

    But, because they are blended, sometime I miss a post by "O", Jere Morton, Robert Woodard or Chris Carrera because it is not on top. There are a lot of players from college lurking on the board (C'mon out Rob Wilson) that I think would post on a college baseball forum. Jere knows a ton of people that he could recruit for the board. Robert and Goose do to...it could be a blast. Have college coaches post about recruiting...have the players post the things that Jere does so well. Have "O" invite his friends to post pertinent information. I just think it could develop into a great forum.

    A College Baseball forum would be a great idea. You made some good points Braves. I know I would love to contribute to it.
