The changing of the guard in Region X is complete

I know this is a high school thread but a lot of high school players being recruited by this team may want to read this:

I just want to be the first to say that Region X is a very competetive conference and there are a lot of great ball players that play in that league. Almost all of the teams in that league are above average and it takes a strong team to win the tournament. My hat is off to Mark Tucker and the rest of the Surry Knights as they celebrate tonight's win over Louisburg. Surry will host the champions from the Region in WV/MD as well as the champions from the NY area in two weeks in a 3 team round robin to see who goes to Grand Junction for the World Series.

Surry finishes the tournament without a loss and improving the overall record to 53-7, while being ranked 8th in the final NJCAA poll.

All of us that have a part in the Surry program are very proud of the team and its accomplishments this year!
