    Butler (6-7, 11-10) at Myers Park (9-4, 10-9)
A win by Myers Park will put them to at least a tie for 2nd in the conference.

    South Meck (13-0,22-1) at Providence (9-4, 13-7)
A win by South Meck and they sweep the conference. Providence is 1-4 over their last 5 games. A win by Providence would allow them to tie for 2nd in the conference.

Wins by Butler and South Meck have the potential of creating a 3-way tie with East Meck, who should hold form and win today over Waddell.

    Meca-8

North Meck (12-1, 19-3) at Central Cabarrus (9-4, 14-7). The other players in the conference race (Independence, Hopewell) should hold form in their games today. A win by North Meck will probably force a tie for 1st between Indy/NM and a tie for 3rd between Central/Hopewell. Central can claim sole ownership of the last playoff spot for now with a win.

    NW4A
South Caldwell (5-6 in conf) vs ACHS (11-0 in conf). Alexander Central is going for the perfect regular season tonight. South Caldwell comes into the matchup tied for 3rd in the conference with McDowell. McDowell (5-6) finishes the season today against AC Reynolds (3-8).

    Big East
JH Rose vs New Bern. New Bern lost earlier this week to Northern Nash, 2-1. They already have a victory in conference over JH Rose. A win by New Bern and they win the Conference outright. Ditto for a win by JH Rose.

    PAC-6
Person (5-3, 9-9) vs Jordan (3-5, 6-14). Person can lock up a playoff berth for now with a 2nd place finish in the conference. The conference tournament starts next week for them, so the will still be on the bubble, even with a win. Chapel Hill still has games remaining. It's possible for Person to climb into 1st in the PAC-6 with a victory tonight, coupled with Chapel Hill losses.

Most of the 3A games are slated for tomorrow. One non-conference matchup of interest is AL Brown vs Piedmont. This would be a good game if it wasn't a "sandwich" game between conference opponents. Expect both teams to be "saving" their best arms for later in the week. It's still a great tune-up later games.

Whether South Meck wins or loses today @ Providence, they have already earned #1 seed in the SW4A. To earn the #2nd seed, Providence needs to win today, 5/6.

Myers Park needs a victory plus a Providence loss. Myers Park will be the #3rd seed unless they lose and East wins on the field and the coin toss between Myers Park and East Meck. A Myers Park win forces East Meck into the #4th seed. If all three teams lose, Providence will be seeded 2nd, Myers Park 3rd, and East Meck 4th.

As of lately, in the SW4A, anything can happen tonight?!?

SL -- Maybe you have info that I don't, but as I understand it, if Myers Park and Providence both win, they will tie for second at 9-5, and because they split head-to-head during the season, the next tie-breaker will be whoever does best in the conference tourney. Similarly, If MP wins, East wins and Providence loses, MP will be second and Prov and East will tie for third. Again, because East and Prov split head-to-head, the conference tourney resuts will be the next tie-breaker. Also, if MP and Prov lose and East wins, all three will tie for second at 8-6, and the conference tourney will again be the next tie-breaker since they all three went 2-2 against the other 2.

Let me know if there is a tie-breaker I don't know about that changes all that.
