What Is The Ideal Field Size?

    For high school fastpitch what size should a field be? I think Watauga is about 185. AC Reynolds is large don't know distance).
    Alexander Central is 215 feet.

    Post your thoughts and your field size

    I like to see all fields the same size, something like 200'.

    NCAA and NAIA is 235' max 185' min. for fastpitch.

    I agree with you Can...some use short fields and then their stats are padded because of it.

    Whats even worse is the long fields. You see some 240' and 250' and still even some on old baseball fields with 300' fences where doubles turn into homeruns and well hit balls that go 210 or 215 in the air become flyball outs instead of homeruns

    You are right!!!

    Fields that are too small or two big is just crazy. There are plenty of fields where they are playing and hitting a lot of HR's but when the report that they are hitting all these HR's they are not saying that the are playing on small fields!!!!!!
