    gotta love "T" Ball

Man this is tough. My DD is about to play her last college tournament this weekend, and I was taking it well until y'all posted this topic. Everything you have talked about is true and I remember it like it was yesterday. And I coached up north. lol guess Ball is the same all over.
We played and practiced on a field next to a commuter railroad, (LIRR) and every time a train went by the game came to a halt. even the butterfly chasing and four leaf clover hunt stopped.
Well at least Im still coaching and maybe my DD will join me. and my Grand daughter is 6yo so here we go again (I hope) her mama wants her to, of all things be a Cheerleader. Yuck!!!
Thanks for reminding me how great T Ball really was. :applause:

    The MOM

Well guys, I was the mom that was the T-ball coach, and instead of looking at the moms, I had the opportunity to look at the dads!! I wanted the dads that were going to be at each practice helping and I had about six great dads! We taught those kids with tennis balls, and SAFE-T-Balls for three weeks and they were not afraid of anything after that! What a great time I had with all my kids that played!! I made some great friends out there, and now my son is playing high school ball with some of those same kids!! Maybe that is why SM parents and players are having such a fun year this year, just like we had when those boys were 4,5, and 6!!! What great memories!!
