I agree....I think Hanger4 would do a great job...I have it on good authority that he has some free time....I believe I saw him saturday watching a hs scrimmage tournament in the mountains. I had to laugh at one of the Kings Mountains players who said "we have to go to the mountains to play ball because there's too much snow at home..go figure"

Hey I worked hard at that hs scrimmage tournament. I was the #1 gopher and time keeper and sanitation engineer of which I excel I'll have you know. Oh and sand shoveler, my back is still sore.
Heard that also, it was the joke of the day with most of the coaches. Erwin's season starts today with AC Reynolds. Kind of dread the JV game, a lot hard working kids, not a lot of experience. I believe we'll end the season on good notes if we can keep the frustration at a minimum.

Enka, did not play Kings Mountain. ..Enka played Owen, Polk County, and Swain County. Not sure how Kings Mountain did...I believe one of the Owen players said they beat Kings 1 to 0....Hanger, do you know any of the Kings Mountains scores...And again I want to recommend Hanger as a moderator.

Okay..here is what's going to happen. For you oldtimers, you will recall when we first started the Prep Forum we just had HS baseball and it soon developed into all the other forums. We want to start the new College forum the same way. We need to get a feel of what kind of response we will have initially, to gauge when to break off into the sub forums.

The new forum will be titled " Next Level"...it will be moderated by the people I have already discussed it with. I really think we can have a lot of fun with this. I know personally, I love to keep up with our former Prepsters...to read about some of our members and all of the gals and guys that are talented enough to go further with their sport is incredible.

We have one former HS coach that has many players that he has coached at many schools, as well as State Games, that he still has contacts with. It is great to have him aboard as a moderator....and with a current player and 2 excellent coaches from the softball side, who are plugged into softball through out the State, it should make this forum fun, interesting and informative.

Thanks everyone for all that you do and thanks Moderators for making this the best little sports message board in the State.

It's a thankless job and it doesn't pay very much, but everytime you say something positive about a player, there is usually a family that is excited by what you said and appreciate very much for mentioning their child....and with all the kidding that we do, that's the main purpose of these forums.

Now, if I can only teach that one moderator not to diss a coach anymore :D
