    This is great, all coaches love kids that understand what hustle means to the team. We gotta get him a new name. Goose just sounds too slow.

    Having watched Goose play since he was seven, it's really great to see him performing at such a high level! An intense competitor who loves to play the game, he's worked very hard for a long time to be able to play like that.

    Young players who read this board: His model for developing as a player would be a great one to imitate!

    Mud, I think we need to contact Webster's and have them change the definition:

    Goose - a migratory water fowl; also a hard nosed, intense, hard working baseball player who is as fast as greased lightening!!!
