Hey Coach, can you give us some info on what these camps are and what your role will be.

I have heard some interesting comments about the camps and it's purpose, but would prefer to get the information from the horses mouth. Thanks for your help!!

BTW, on a personal note, I wish to offer you congratulations on your success at Jupiter and how proud I am to have known you.
You, sir, are the epitome of what a coach should be. Developing leadership and baseball skills to the kids you have contact with as well as aiding them in their pursuit of college schollys.

To take a team of players from across the state, many never having played together and to have them play as a "team" is a tribute to your coaching skills. It was fun to watch your team play this fall and I look forward to you having a greater influence on the kids in the Western part of the state.

I'll second that! My son enjoyed playing for Coach Lew and the feeling of "team" that the guys from around the state exhibited. It's rare, except in baseball, when you can bring together such a diverse group of players and they understand the concept of teamwork and not individual accomplishments. If the "team" performs well each teammate is showcased!

Well said SPD!!! Congrats on your son's signing. He has been a joy to watch and I'm looking forward to watching him and the rest of the "Greenies" to repeat.

As a former player for Coach Weatherspoon (From when I was 14-17) I agree with everything in this thread so far. He is the top coach I have played for and he was a lot more then just a ball coach. He really did a great job of keepin team chemistry good and makin a season a lot of fun. After a loss, he would never be upset, he would point out the mistakes and we would correct them and come out better the next time we took the field.

If you haven't got a chance to meet him, he's a great guy.

    THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING COACH!
