Impact Baseball Showcase

    i heard he threw 85-86, good armside movement, etc. just wandering if anyone saw him there??

    I got to see them the previous day at Bankhead's Showcase in Greensboro. He was 82 on average and topped out at 83. His breaking stuff looked pretty sharp, but he really struggled with command on his fastball.

    i know that location is usually not his problem. he has thrown alot of innings this year though. probably time for a break.

    The coaches and players in the Meca8 wish to thank you for taking Independence back into the SW4A. It will definitely make the conference a little easier.

    Seriously, Zac (and Independence) are in the Meca8 ... Michael Raymond from East Gaston also had an excellent showing in the top 15.

    Congratulations to Wes Borden (IF), a Charrlotte SW4A player @ South Meck, for showing very well and probably rating in the top 15 of Impact Baseball's Underclassman Showcase event this past weekend @ UNC-W.

    Even though a top 15 list was not put together since it was the first time for most of these underclassman players, we should see, I would think, a top 15 for underclassman come the summer of 2004.

    also, congrads to jared bard (inf, p) of charlotte christian, for having a great weekend. jared had the fastest 60 time out of the underclassman, 7.0. he also pitched very well average in the 81-84 mph range. nice work
