    Davie Bandits 05 (Bandits NC)

The Davie Bandits 05 (Bandits NC Organization) are looking to add 2 strong players to our 2016 roster. We are currently made up of eight 2005 girls & one 2006 and we have played together ALL YEAR in 10u. This will be a second year 10U team that will begin moving into 12's in the fall of 2016. We would love to add 2 more 05 girls (possibly a VERY strong 06 who played up in 10U this year) for next year and beyond. Our organization has 7 teams from 8u-18U Showcase and has been growing since 2007 (davie bandits softball).

All positions are open to be earned to anyone willing to work hard for your goals. At this time we are looking to hold private tryouts starting in November for our 2016 roster. All tryouts will be kept confidential. We will begin winter indoor workouts in January. All practices will be held in Advance, NC. Our season will run from January-November 2016 so we are searching for committed young ladies and families looking for a longterm opportunity to grow within the organization. We are also looking to play a very strong and challenging schedule in 2016 so we are looking for girls who want to be challenged. We will be playing ASA & Top Gun tournaments & 16-20 tournaments this year.

We have a strong family atmosphere among players and parents so we will be looking for someone who can embrace the TEAM concept and work hard. A TEAM player and a coachable young lady are an absolute must!

Please contact by phone or email for questions etc at:

    davie bandits softball

**We are now listed as Bandits NC instead of Davie Bandits. SAME organization as always but due to successful growth we have chosen to drop the "Davie" portion of our name over to Bandits NC.**. Starting in 2016 we will just go by Bandits NC 05.

    Thanks!

The Lake Norman Lightning "04" team will be holding tryouts on Sunday, November 29th at 1:00. We are based out of Huntersville and will hold tryouts at North Mecklenburg Park, 16131 Old Statesville Rd Huntersville, NC on field 4. During the spring/summer and early fall season we practice on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School. We are currently looking an "A" bracket pitcher, outfielder, 1st basemen however, all positions are up for consideration. We do teach our girls multiple positions. We have great girls in our program and parents that let the coaches coach and support their daughters in a positive manner and attitude.

We are a highly competitive organization that is not only known locally but also regionally. We are an organization that challenges our players at every practice and every game and seeks out the best competition.

We believe in being fundamentally sound in all aspects of the game and we teach our girls proper mechanics and techniques at every position. We stress respect and sportsmanship for the game, towards your teammates, your opponents and game officials. We are big on, "no one individual is bigger than the team" that is why it is called a team sport.

The head of our organization is Thomas Strahan who is the assistant coach at North Mecklenburg and just finished his 26th season as a softball coach. He has a plan and a vision for every team in our organization. The head coach of our 04 team is Paul Kirby who has just finished his 3rd year as a Lake Norman Lightning coach but has many more years of experience and a wealth of knowledge that he has brought to the table. Our coaches attend coaching clinics held by college and high school coaches throughout the year. We strive to be the best so, we can teach our girls the proper way to play the game.

Parents before committing to another organization come tryout and see what it is like to be a Lake Norman Lightning family member. If you want your daughter to be on a competitive team, that teaches girls the proper way to play the game, promotes sportsmanship, promotes competition in practice, DOESN'T PLAY DADDY BALL, and feels developing the girl as a person and not just as a player is important then we look forward to meeting you on November 29th at 1:00.

For more information or if you can't make that date and you would like a private tryout. Call or email the head of our organization at: 704-726-6492 or [email protected]
