    I have heard alot rumors about where the "Superstar" from AC is going to college have you??? I know just wondering if you have heard..... I heard turned down Alabama... Thats crazy!!! Who turns down Bama????

    I'm not going to get involved with that one....things have changed on here my friend, no one really cares about that situation at all.....much finer things in life to look at

    Zero knowledge of who's being referenced.

    However, a general comment on the "turning down school A". As most know, playing college softball is (should be) a means to an end for 99% of the athletes, and that end is a degree. A very small % play beyond college and even then, it's not a career for the majority of them. Hence, decisions like cost, distance, degree availability, degree quality, etc... all have to be balanced.

    This is one of the best post I have seen in a while. For those of you dreaming of college ball, don't forget what Amish said. You have to do what is best for you and your long-term future. Just because you have the ability to play at ______ University doesn't mean that is always what the best course of action is for you.
