We are looking for 1 10u player to finalize our roster. All positions considered. The Lake Norman Fury, based in Denver, NC, will hold open tryouts for our 99/00 team for the Fall season on July 26 from 10am to 12pm and on July 27 from 3pm to 5pm.The tryouts will be held at Lincoln Charter School, Galway Lane in Denver, NC. All positions will be considered with special interest in pitchers and catchers.

With teams ranging from ages 9-18 years of age, our mission is to provide a first class organization for young ladies to compete at the highest level.In recognition of this objective, two of the Fury teams were recently selected to represent Team Worth NC for their age groups – the 2002 Team and the Showcase Team.The Fury strives to help our young ladies become better players on the field and better citizens in the community.We are looking for athletes that desire to improve their play, who respect the game of softball and all those that surround their team, and who will play with maximum effort while still enjoying the game. Chatham Elite 2000/2001

The Chatham Elite 14U team 2000-2001 is looking to fill three positions on our fall roster; we are looking for 1 pitcher & 2 utility or position players. We are looking for players that are dedicated to the game & have a 2000 or 2001 birthdate. If you are looking to join an established organization that will give your daughter the opportunity to grow as a ball player, or if you are just tired of playing with a different team every year because the last one folded, give us a call. Most of our practices will be held just outside of Asheboro in Franklinville, NC.


The Chatham Elite Organization is based out of Chatham County but our teams & players are from all around the surrounding counties in North Carolina. We are an established organization going into our 13th year of operation. We currently field competitive teams from 10U thru 18U. Our 16U & 18U programs play showcase ball throughout the Southeast & have a great track record for getting our players signed to play College ball. The Chatham Elite has much to offer young players with dreams of playing in College someday.

Chatham Elite 12u Tryouts

Chatham Elite 12u (2002) will have tryouts for the upcoming 2014 Fall Season; all positions.
Players are required to attend one tryout date, but attending more than one is encouraged.
During the season, we practice at least two times per week in Seagrove. Our tournament schedule begins in mid-August.

Lady Lightning East Tryouts

The Lady Lighting East will be holding tryouts for our HS Showcase team on August 17 at 2pm at our indooor/outdoor facilities in Faison, NC (110 Circle Drive). The Lady Lighting East is affiliated with the larger Lady Lighting Organization and is based in the Eastern part of N.C. We have had a great Spring/Summer season so far, winning the Western N.C./Southern Va. ASA State tournament, the Reese Cup tournament, in addition to posting great records in several large showcase events in N.C., S.C., and Virginia. We also qualified in June for the 16U ASA Gold Nationals in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and will be travelling there to compete July 21-26. The goal of our organization is to help girls that are striving to play college softball reach their goals. We will be looking to add 2 to 3 players for the Fall season and beyond. Any position will be considered, but we will be looking specifically for girls that we feel have D1 or D2 College potential. To better match the age structure of our team, we are most interested in 2015-2017 graduates, although strong 2018 graduates will be considered. I do not like carrying a large roster, and, therefore, prefer to keep our roster at a maximum of 12 players. Fall tournaments will be a mixture of college showcase events and college mixers with various area colleges. Practices are generally held on Sundays either in Faison, or local college facilities. Alley Cats 18u Tryouts

The Alley Cats will hold a tryout for it's 18u Showcase team on Aug 3 at Spartanburg Methodist College. We are looking for dedicated student athletes that want to compete at a high level in quality showcase tournament to be become solid college prospects. Call for a time.

The Charlotte Starz 10U will be holding open tryouts on the following dates; Saturday, July 26th and Saturday, August 2nd, 10:00 AM to 12:30, on both dates at Ferguson Park in Gastonia. The address is 1401 Golf Course Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054. We are looking for all positions. We will play up to 6 tournaments this fall and plan to play 10U throughout the next year. LKN LIGHTNING 10-U "03" TRYOUTS

The Lake Norman Lightning 10-u '03" team will be holding tryouts on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:30 on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School. We have had a successful spring/summer season and are looking to continue that success with new players that we select.

We compete in "A" level brackets in NSA, USSSA, Top Gun and NFHS/Crystal Carolina

Our head coach is the assistant coach for North Mecklenburg High School and has 25 years of coaching experience in tournament and high school softball.

We have three players that are staying down on our new "04" team and one that is moving. We are looking for 5 players one must be a pitcher and the others can be any position.

The Chatham Elite 16U Showcase team is looking for a Pitcher & a Utility player that is a future 2016 or 2017 graduate & is looking to play beyond High School. Our 16U Showcase team is made up of individuals that want to play College Ball & are willing to work hard to get there.


The Chatham Elite Organization is based out of Chatham County but our players are from several of the surrounding counties. We are an established organization that has been in operation for 12 years, we are also well known among College Coaches for bringing some of the top talent in the Carolinas to the game. Our 16U & 18U programs play showcase ball throughout the Southeast & have a great track record for getting our players signed to play College ball.
