Chatham Elite 14u 2000-2001

The Chatham Elite 14u team 2000-2001 is looking to fill two positions on the 2014 roster: we are looking for 1 pitcher & 1 utility player. We are looking for players that are dedicated to the game & have a 2000 or 2001 birthdate. If you are looking to join an established organization that will give your daughter the opportunity to grow as a player, or if you are just tired of playing with a different team every year because the last one folded, give us a call.
We normally practice in Franklinville or Randleman.

Spark 14U (Wake County) forming

The NC SPARK 14U will form with ladies looking to be a part of an organization devoted to enhancing their game by mastering the fundamentals and learning the finer details of the game.

We are looking for athletes who choose to improve their softball skills both physically and mentally while working with an experienced coaching staff. This staff will emphasize all fundamentals of the game; proper execution, team chemistry, discipline, competing and the mental game principles. Our goal is to prepare your daughter for her upcoming middle or high school year and within a few years, introduce her to the college recruiting process.

ALL positions are open and selected players will be notified by mid June. Voluntary practices will begin in July. Mandatory practices begin in August, and tournament play will begin in September. Practices will continue through the winter to ensure execution is routine for Spring 2015 tournaments.
2 practices per week at least 1 practice per weekend, when not in tournaments. Expect 2 tournaments per month.

Intention is to practice in Cary/Apex (near the 540 Corridor for those coming from Southern or Northern Wake).

Charlotte Starz 18U Elite

The Charlotte Starz 18U Elite team is looking to add two more positional players to its 2014 roster. We have a need for a 2016/2017 Pitcher and a 2017 Catcher. The Starz organization has been around for more than 15 years and is in its 3rd year at the showcase level. The current team is comprised of players from the foothills, Charlotte metro, triad of NC and from southern VA. We have worked hard at building relationships with coaches from all over the south east at various levels of collegiate play. Having current players committed to UNC-Chapel Hill, Gardner-Webb University, Elon University, and Wingate. The Starz aims to compete in all of the major showcases in the southeast including the Scenic City in Chattanooga, the Atlanta Legacy, the Heartland series in Virginia Beach the Cardinal Classic Series, the Sun Classic in Orlando and the Champions Elite in Atlanta. In addition to the showcase experience we are also playing in the State and National qualifiers.

Chatham Elite 16u Showcase Team

The Chatham Elite 16U Showcase team is looking for a Catcher/Utility player that is a future 2016 or 2017 graduate & is looking to play beyond High School. Our 16U Showcase team is made up of individuals that want to play College Ball & are willing to work hard to get there.

The Chatham Elite Organization is based out of Chatham County but our players are from several of the surrounding counties. We are an established organization that has been in operation for 12 years, we are also well known among College Coaches for bringing some of the top talent in the Carolinas to the game. Our 16U & 18U programs play showcase ball throughout the Southeast & have a great track record for getting our players signed to play College ball.

LKN Lightning 14u pitcher needed

The Lake Norman Lightning 14u is looking for a competitive pitcher. At this time we have one pitcher but need another to share a lot of mound time. We compete in NSA, USSSA, NFHS/NATIONS and select Top Gun tournaments.

We are having open tryouts for pitchers on Wednesday 5/28/14 at 6:00 and again on Sunday 6/1/14 at 3:00 both tryouts are on the campus of North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, NC.

We are looking for a pitcher who has control of her pitches, is a competitor, has good speed on her fastball and a solid change up. Whatever your pitches are you must be able to hit your spots. We are not looking for a girl to strike out every batter...that would be nice but not realistic.

We have a great group of girls who are very competitive, have great chemistry and really enjoy playing the game of softball and have made our organization very successful.

Our head coach is the assistant softball coach for North Mecklenburg High School and has 25 years of softball coaching experience in tournament and high school ball.

Spark 14U Open Tryouts Sunday 6/8 (5-7pm)

If you would like to be a part of an organization solely committed to improving not only as a player, but also as a young lady, I invite you the NC Spark 14u open tryout on Sunday, June 8th from 5-7pm at Fred G. Bond Park Field #4 in Cary. Headcount needed by Wednesday, June 4.

Should your team be so fortunate to still be playing at 5:00 on Sunday or if you need a confidential, individual tryout, please email and mutual arrangements will be made.

The plan is to practice in August, play 4 tournaments from September - October and lots of instruction through the winter. The goal will be to improve the level of play by raising the athlete's softball knowledge and confidence to translate into peak performance on the field.
There are 9 open positions and obviously bracket pitchers and catchers are needed.

Mint Hill Magic holding Open practices!!!!

The time is Now!!!!
The Mint Hill Magic will be hosting open practices for the Fall 2014 season moving up from 10U to 12U. We will be evaluating 2002-04 players along with our very talented spring 2014 team. These open practices will give potential players and parents an inside look at a typical Mint Hill Magic practice and a chance to interact with members of the 2014 Spring Mint Hill Magic team. Because of the commitment expected of our families and coaches, we believe potential Magic families must have the opportunity to make sure our family will be the right fit. The open practices will help the coaching staff pre-evaluate players for our official tryouts in late July.
The Magic will be playing 12U in the Fall of 2014 and our goal is to play 14U by the spring of 2016.
