there's been a whole lot of controversy over pitchers getting hit — and sometimes seriously injured or killed — with batted balls, struck by aluminum bats. With the advent of rubber bats and a move to rubber balls, there stands to be even more incidents of mayhem in the future. As a softball fan, this makes me sad. Also, there is this thing about crow hopping. It's the scourge of the game: cheating pitchers and their crow-hopping shenanigans.

I would propose eliminating pitchers from the game altogether and just having the girls hit off tees. No pitchers to have their craniums cracked by laser shots rocketing off titanium-plated, cork-stuffed rubber bats. And no crow hopping.

Awesome, would love to see the umpires call it right, to many let it go,
it only hurts the girls to let it go in the younger ages, then when they
get to HS or even college, they wonder why it is a problem.
