    Hurricanes Elite Update

Hurricanes started off the morning playing the Quebec Rebelles Performance QC. After losing our first game 10 - 1 we dropped into the loser bracket drawing Lady Fireballs - PA. The Hurricanes Elite won in dramatic fashion after being down the entire game. Final score 9 - 8. Hurricanes Elite play again tomorrow morning @ 9:40 AM

    Congrats to NC Challengers 12U

Congratulations to the NC Challengers 12U team for finishing tied for 5th at PONY Nationals this year. This was a tremendous accomplishment for a great group of young ladies!

    Hurricanes Elite update

The Hurricanes Elite ended their run yesterday with a 5-3 loss to the Nightmare Elite - MA. Hurricanes Elite ended up going 3-3-1 for the tournament. Cape Fear Storm is the only team left from NC in the 18U and has advanced to national championship bracket. Good luck to them

    Ohhh the memories

Pony Nationals has been one of my greatest memory makers. This is a GREAT tournament hosted in my back yard so we can play a great variety of teams and sleep in my own bed.
Congratulations to all teams participating and representing North Carolina well.
Good Luck to those still in it. Bring home the hardware!!!

Lots of teams from all over the country (and Canada I believe). Must be great for the local economy. But the only news coverage I've seen was a weather report.

The PONY tournament followed right on the heels of the Cardinal Classic last weekend. That's a lot of people. Where is the news coverage?
