camp advice needed

    My 11 yr old daughter wants to attend one of the summer softball camps. I am debating between the Charlotte 49ers and the camp put on at USC Upstate. any input in either of these camps and which would be most beneficial. DD plays travel and is moving to 12U in the fall.

    Upstate is Great

    Coach Hawkins and Coach Pack do a fantastic job getting points across to the younger kids at camp.We have done several mini camps with our 12u team and the girls love being there they make it fun as well.I haven't taken any of my kids to UNCC camp but I'm sure they do an awesome job also.I'm sure other people out there will give you insight on that.

    I have heard nothing but great things about the USC-Upstate camp over the past few years. I haven't heard anything about the Charlotte camp.

    My 2 daughters have attended the Upstate camp several times and always enjoyed it. Coaches Hawkins and Pack take no mercy on them; they work hard and have little down time. We have never attended the UNCC camp but have heard good things about it. The Upstate camp is an overnight camp tho, and the UNCC has not been in the past. Most girls like the idea of staying overnight on campus.
