My son is a freshman in H.S. and this is the highlight video I put together to send to the schools he is interested in to get him on their watch list. Not sure what happened to the audio on this u-tube clip but it didn't work for me. The DVD we are sending uses Down with the Sickness by Disturbed and includes his measurable and contact info at the end which I deleted for open forum posting. Give me some honest opinions and feedback.

Youtube Clip I couldn't get the embedded video thing to work.

He should be very good by his senior year.. Isn't the play at 1:55-2:00 or so illegal? haha. That play he almost sorta kinda in a way did get beat, but we all get beat. If he sticks with it, he will be very good. I like about 1:20 when that #50 was standing there and he hits him again. The drive down at the goal line at around 2:10 was great drive.

One thing i noticed watching all of the highlights, he is very good at something most offensive lineman struggle with. When we get beat, it's hard for us to recover and get back on the block. Your son is good at not only recovering, but allowing the defensive man at times to take himself out of the play and thus he allows his RB to cut off of that. RBs will often tell you that the exact hole 70% of the time isn't there and the OL has to be able to push the DL somewhere and give the back a chance. Tell your son to keep up the good work, keep his feet moving, pump that iron, and let the good Lord use his abilities for his glory.

Good luck to your family and son throughout his HS career!

Excellent feedback. Yes, I do think that play is illegal. There were a couple of plays that I saw this season that I was surprised didnt get a call and that was one of them and yes, he chicken winged his guy and hot whipped.

    Thanks for the good advice.
