Umpiring

    Been thinking about getting into umpiring and would like to know how to go about doing it or who would I need to contact. I think I would be pretty good, I got every call right sitting in my lawn chair when my daughter played.

    If you are serious then contact your local Little League or Rec league and start there... you might find you like it. Then get your eyes checked and some training because as you know from that chair, the umps are blind and dont know the rules. I hope you do it, it can be fun... sometimes.

    Its the fence that improves vision. Everyone looking through it sees every play perfectly.

    If you can get all right from setting in a chair. Then let to all your UMP friends know when you start, that you will be using a chair behind the plate and you have some extras for sale and that it will drastically improve their ability to see the game. Major league BB may want to try it also......
