    If you haven't seen sophomore pitcher Lorna Duncan for Piedmont throw you must. This young lady has not let the new 43' distance affect her pitching.Thus far this kid has thrown 2 shut-outs, and 1 save in 5 games. Her ball actually jumps at you as it comes toward the batter. Nothing new to many pitchers, but this kid has really mastered the spin of the ball. One great Christian young lady that doesn't say much, but takes care of her job on the mound. Her trust relies on her defense if anything is hit it will be caught and handled by the other 8 players.
