i dont think ac will see a team thats even close to bein as fast as hibriten. and also, i dont think it was just the speed that hurt ac. that offense that hibriten runs is hard enough to stop with power backs, much less speed backs. sure the speed hurt, but i think if hibriten runs a "normal" offense then i think ac's defense couldve kept them in check. prolly high 20s, low 30s. davie and west iredell was fast, but they ran normal offenses. thats why we stopped them

There are several factors that play into why Reynolds out seeded Alexander. The primary being that each team is allowed to drop ONE (1) non-conference game win/loss stat. Being it that Reynolds lost only one game outside of conference, both teams essentially enter the seeding process as 9-1 teams. The tie breaker since both lost to the eventual conference champions is margin of victory in which favors Reynolds.

Also I have heard how "unfair" it is for a 1-9 team to have to play a 10-0 team in the 1A bracket. For those who are curious, there are almost 30% less 1A (not 1AA) teams than in any other sub-division. This why in NC high school wrestling, the 1A and 2A championship is combined for a totally of only three (3) champions in each.

 

what is this ? college football ? i didnt know margin of victory mattered. that stinks since harper doesnt run up the score on anybody. why dont they just look at reynolds losses TWO and ac's losses ONE and decide from that. that stupid drop a loss/win crap is retarded and it is evident here. ac got screwed, just like we did in 2006. but .... happens. we'll be fine. ac needs to keep doing their thing. should be a heck of a ballgame friday night.

Junk like this is half the reason you have some coaches that leave their starters in the entire game and throw the ball up 42-0 in the 3rd quarter. It condones and says that it is okay and perfectly fine to purposely run it up. Running the ball against a team that just can't stop you and scoring that way is one thing, but there's many coaches and everybody here knows of a few that will air it out and not take into consideration what High School Football is all about. How's the games went tonight that took place? Any upsets or nailbiters?

 

did i see this wrong but if bandys wins and east lincoln wins they play in the 3rd round, that would be 3 conf games for bandys in the playoffs right! how messed up is the nchsaa!!!!!!!!!!!
