Harper named Panther Coach of Week

    Alexander Central coach Tom Harper has been named the Carolina Panther Coach of the Week. The ACHS Athletic Department will get a $1,000 check from the Panthers in Coach Harper's name. Congratulations on an award that is much deserved.

    Amen Wise One. Harper is a great human being. They should send a $5,000 check to the man himself because of the great men that he brings up and teaches about fighting through the tough times of life and keep plugging. Like he taught us in weight training and during football few years back, there's different levels of talent, coaching, strength, etc... but there's 2 things that everybody can be equal in and those 2 things often times make the difference between winning and losing or making it through life happy.. and those 2 things are Attitude & Effort!

    One of the lessons learned from this great man has stuck with me through many things I've had to deal with post high school and football days.

    Great job Coach! I love that man to death!

    Congrats Coach

    All I have to say is congratulations to the man that taught me, so many before me, and all the ones who will come after me to be a young man. Coach Tom Harper is one of the most straight up, hard nosed, loving men anyone could ever meet. Coach has always pushed his players to be the best they could and to play with attitude and emotion, because just like Rob said, those are the two things that anyone can muster up. Congrats to you Coach on being Coach of the Week.
