Canes 2012 Tryouts

    The 2012 Canes will be having tryouts for the fall and spring at 10:am on Saturday August 22.Reg starts at 10 and we will have a pro style workout beginning at 11:00.These tryouts are At Ernie Shore Field now home of Wake Forest.Tryouts fee is 20.00 dollars.For more info you can go to the Canes website.

    Would you know if or when there might be a tryout for the 2013 class?

    I havent heard anything but I am sure that they will be having one.If I hear anything I will post it here.You can also go to the Canes web page and call Jeff Petty if no answer he will call you back.

    No More Phone Calls!

    This is my neighbor's kid. I think he's going to have all the tools. We clocked him throwing a pacifier across the room yesterday at 20 MPH. That's equivalent to a 110 MPH fastball in the year 2026. Also, the pacifier was thrown in a trashcan in the corner of the room, which means he may have the skills to be either a quarterback or a shooting guard. Impressive!
    Three-sport athletes are rare these days!
