Region 6 Hits First HR In State Games

    Sarah "BOOMER" Mooney hits first State Games HR @ UNC-Charlotte against Region 8, she smashed it over the L/F fence,and it landed on top of the batting cage net. Also Kelly Braman of Region 6 hits the first in the park HR @ Mallard Creek!! Congrats to the Region 6 girls getting to the Bronze Medal Seed agianst Region 7 tonight @ 5:00 P.M. this ought to be a great game !!

    Boomer put on a show yesterday in that game. Little Lauren Lewis ain't too shabby with the glove either. Congrats to Ashley Rhyne for getting the win, although Boomer came in to finish it off. I guess you could say the 2 old rivals combined for the win.
