    East Surry Repeat 1A Champions!!!

    After losing a marathon 14 inning game to Swain County 1-0, East Surry came back to defeat Jamesville 5 to 0. This set up the playoff against Swain with East Surry winning 3 to 0 and on to the first playoff game against North Johnston. This first game was won 2 to 1 and the final was 1 to 0 with Courtney Simmons hitting a home run in the bottom of the 6th inning.Hayley Shelton came through for the Lady Cards with 66 strikeouts for the week end!!!
