3A Playoffs

You may be right.... I don't know, thats the first time I've seen foard this year........ but I will say there is usually a reason when a team doesn't play like they are "capable" Has something to do with the opponent sometimes. 3 base hits in the first inning...kind of set the tone that the Raiders were there to play .... That pitcher who gave up only 2 hits was no slouch and that defense that committed one error , was flawless all day.. And 9 hits don't "just happen".... I tend to give credit where its due. I tend to think The Raiders made them "flat" if thats what they were. Last time I speak of Foard.... On to RS Central.

 

They were off and you're right. That pitcher from Foard is an awesome and those girls have played with each other for a long time. I dont know what happened but there were some great plays on both sides. BRING IT NI. Wish I could still play haha..Underdog "whoop whoop"

Yes, you're right. It is ok and more than that it is the right thing to do. We should all respect the players that love the game and their teammates, the ones that give 200% all the time.
It's ok...I pull for your girls, you've pulled for Liz, we pull for Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls, etc etc...... They're kids playing a game and giving it all they've got.

 

Still pulling for Saint, BUT I want to give respect and credit to Coach Harkey and coach Riddle for making it happen at North. Congrats guys, enjoy this year!

I'm perfectly happy for these lady raiders to remain the cinderella team. After tonight though, I BELIEVE!!!!! Keep working hard ladies and great things can happen.

Harkey gets the win on the mound... Have no stats in front of me.

Took awhile to get the bats going. Seems its somebody new everytime...This time it was 3rd baseman Kaci Williams who ignited the bats with a big hit in the 5th. And that was followed with a Taylor Rosenbalm smash over the rightfield fence to give the Raiders the lead for good. Congrats to Taylor on her first homer, couldn't be more timely obviously. Kaci williams with 2 hits, Rosembalm with the one big one..... Karley Harkey, Emily Riddle and Dekota Sharpe also had hits. Raiders live to play another day....... What fun this is.


And let me also mention (paper jogged my memory) rightfielder Elizabeth (pookie) Johnson who made the defensive play of the game. Caught a fly ball then gunned a runner down at home in the bottom of the 4th to keep it at a 1-0 game. Defense wins championships and Pookie made a GREAT throw to hold RS Central where they were at the time.
