My apologies for any offense. The article states,"All three area coaches of teams in the Southwestern 3A/2A Conference agree." I only attempted to share something positive. I had no intention of anything negative directed to any school, program, or individual. My hope is the article is taken in the positive spirit in which my sharing of the article was intended.

    No offense

Absolutely no offense was taken. Didnt mean to make anyone feel as if there was a need to apologize. TB has definately contributed to the rise in talent probably in all areas. Just venting frustration at how some schools are a victim to bias by the media.

THe other two coaches feel the same way. Melvin Digh at RS helped the Rally Katz travel team set up, and use his field for a softball camp, and Daniel Bailey coach of Chase--signed his daughter up to come to it. Both are very supportive. Coach Digh allows the 12u, and 18u Rally Katz to practice on his field, and drags it before and after for them. I think the newspaper's author saw a great 11 inning game, and on the spur of the minute, decided to write about the level of play, and how it had improved. Coach Ballard may have been the most readily available for a quote, since the article's author was playing in a student/faculty softball game at that school, right after the game, but the other two guys are very "on-board."

TB kids and parents start spending valuable time and money WAY before they get to play in HS.
HS coaches are lucky to have TB, or quality rec. ball feeder systems.
    They know that.
They also know that they don't need, day after day, to be reminded that they did not build one kid or another.
Nor did you mom and dad build your DD without the help, good or bad, from the very people that are who shape our kids into adults.

in the end, you parents, me included, have got to realize that our kids gain EVERY bit as much if not MORE from the "coaches/teachers who we don't approve of"

All I can write now is THANKS COACHES!
