I am very proud and excited to let everyone know that my daughter Niki has been offered and accepted the Head Softball Coach Position at Wake Tech Community College.

The Wake Tech Eagles will be a member of NJCAA Region X.
The program will start competing the spring of 2010.

Niki is currently finishing her master's degree in sports management at NCSU, where she will graduate in the Spring of 2010.

She graduated from Peace in 2006, and has been the Head Softball Coach at St. David's High School for the past three years.

Wake Tech has an enrollment of over 8000 students in the triangle area.
I expect her to field a very competitive team, coming right out the gate

    Awesome!

Congrats Nicki (and dad)! I know she will do a great job. I also know there is a certain awesome pitcher (last name of Stewart) who goes to Wake Tech that is looking forward to trying out for the team.

We saw Softballphreak at the Knightdale Tournament on Saturday and he told us the good news. Way to go Niki. Congrats. Does this mean she'll be leaving her job at GS? Better watch it Charlie she's sneaking up on you.S&M

    Success

Having a great coach as a father pretty much sewed her up as a heck of a coach! The fact she was a great player as well makes it even a better bet, she will be in the professional for a long time and will move up quickly. Good luck to Niki and Daddy O!:woohoo::drummer:
