Do You Really Love The Game ??

I'm one of those coaches, with no DD, that got into the game by accident. I am a wrestler/wrestling coach turned softball coach because they couldn't find anyone else at the Baltimore HS I was at to coach the JV team. It's funny how things happen to work out. I will always have a special place in my heart for wrestling, but I won't ever be a Head wrestling coach because it would interfere with offseason softball workouts. Softball is the greatest sport and if my team isn't playing/practicing, you will find me at the middle schools that feed into my high school watching games or at NC State games (can't wait to be there tomorrow) or going to watch any former players at whichever college they are playing at.

Last year I headed home for a bachelor party up in the DC area. While we were playing some texas hold'em, I made them put the college softball world series on in the background so I could watch the games. Love this game and needless to say my 4 year old Goddaughter got her first glove and ball from her Godfather.

 

I coach at Monroe High in Union County, I jumped at the chance, enough said
