Registration is open for the State Games for all players on a Varsity high school roster to try-out for possible selection to one of the 8 underclassmen teams or the East/West All-Star team for Seniors. Go to the North Carolina Amateur Sports website at www.ncsports.org to register for try-outs. Be sure to sign up in the Region that your High School is located. There is a $10.00 registration/try-out fee.

    Deadline nearing!

According to the State Games website, the deadline for try-out registration (both the underclassmen and Senior teams) is March 20th. More than likely the deadline will be extended, but all that are planning to try-out should register this week. There are no on-site registrations because of insurance issues. All registration must be done before the first try-out session. Please be diligent in getting this done before March 20th.

    State Games Districts

The State Districts are a little bit different than the ones Guru posted. The State is divided into 8 Districts or Regions. He posted the Districts as they are broken down in Western North Carolina. Sure don't want to leave the young ladies from the East out of the loop. Go to the State Games website at www.ncfastpitch.org to view the State Districts for the games.

    Thanks,

    op

    Seniors

What is the schedule for the East / West Senior games. Do they play 3 games in one day, and do they carry more players to accomadate that format. Where are the try-outs and do they have practices that are mandatory if one makes the team? We are in the West and am looking for the locations of try-outs and any practices before signing up. Any info on this subject would be helpful.

    It's Just My Opinion

It's just my opinion but I think this is a great High School All-Star Tournament. I had a blast in Greensboro photographing the young ladies last year.

    DON'T MISS THIS TOURNAMENT!!!!
