    Poll and Opinion Poll

    The Pre-season poll is out and there is also a new opinion poll on facemasks. Out last opinion poll about the Pitcher's plate being moved to 43' was well recieved. We plan to make these figures known to the NCHSAA at their Winter meeting.
    The polls are slated to come out each Tuesday during the season. Member coaches may vote in the polls by going to the member's area of the website, logging in , and voting for any or all of the classifications. Your votes must be received by Sunday at 6 pm of each week.
    Also, the scoreboard is open to everyone to report their scores during the season. We wish for every school a successful and injury free season.

    Harnett Central has found themselves a tough schedule.
    First regular season game: Middle Creek #2 4A ranking.
    Second game: West Johnson #7 4A
    Third game: Fuquay Varina #8 4A
    Sixth game: Fuquay Varina #8 4A
    Thirteenth game: Triton #3 3A
    Fourteenth game:North Moore #2 1A
    Eighteenth game: North Moore #2 1A
    Twentith game Middle Creek #2 4A
    Last Reg season game: Triton #3 3A

    I hope what doesn't kill you makes you stronger will work for us this year.

    WJ # 7 in 4A????

    W. Johnston lost about 6-7 starters from a very strong senior class in '08. I'd say they prefer to play the underdog role in 2009 with an overall young roster.

    How is it that East Rowan who won conference last yr, didn't loose a single starter is not even in top 10, but NW Cabarrus is ? Gotta be that "P" word !!!! Look for that bunch to be in Raleigh !!!!

    Nothing better than flyin under the radar! The only recognition East Rowan needs will come on the field!

    I have never heard a good argument for keeping it at 40'. That should have been changed already.
