    The former C. Cabarrus and Car. Cobras outfielder hit her first HR today as NCSU beat Indiana 3-2.

    She also scored the winning run.

    Bethany is a heck of a player that did not receive a great deal of attention in early years of HS but always worked hard and came through in clutch conditions.

    There are lot of players that don't get the recognition they deserve,and some that get to much they don't deserve, but I'll stop there !! Agreed Bethany is a real deal...great job !!!

    I'll make one comment then I will leave this thread, but alot of times it is a popularity contest. I know some kids that work that butt off more than some of these kids that I've read about on TBR that are this or that,and they get no recognition !! I just want to set the record straight. Bethany was one of these kids that could stay with the rest of them, but didn't get the glory like some of these kids that are mentioned all the time. I know her personally and I'm very happy for her and her achievements!!
