    Belmont Abbey College topped Lenoir Rhyne 7 - 5 today in cold temps. Freshman Nate Cudney (Myers Park HS) picked up his first collegiate victory by pitching 4 shutout innings in relief. His older brother Jordan came in and closed out a rally in the 9th inning and picked up the save.

    Outstanding!!!! way to go Cudney's. A win and a save in the same game and in the same family---doesn't happen very often.

    Love Abbey baseball, watched it for a few years when my DD boyfriend was SS! They played hard every time they took the field! Hit the ball pretty well but needed a little more pitching in those days.
