:kid: Recently attended LRU Showcase and Coach John Hendricks was not there to assist Coach Knight. The LRU baseball site no longer lists him as a coach. Anyone know where he has gone? :kid:

The School that Coach Hendricks is going to is lucky to be getting a coach that cares about the kids....and he cares about them after their baseball careers have ended......

I planned on releasing this at some point but had not gotten around to it since I have been so busy playing catch up that I lost track of things.

I am now coaching at Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN. I am extremely excited to be a part of such a great program that is in the middle of a true small college baseball dynasty.

Tennessee Wesleyan has won their conference seven consecutive seasons. They have lost in the regional finals the past two seasons to the team that eventually lost to LC state in the national championship game. They have had eight players drafted in the past five seasons and twelve players all together sign with an affiliated organization, that doesn't include any players who have signed with independent organizations. This year we are preseason ranked 14th in the top 25 poles.

My only regret is I will not be able to see LRU make it to the level I had worked and envisioned. Coach Knight is an excellent coach and he will certainly make their program reach whatever the potential may be. I will miss each and every player I recruited and coached. I think any player I have ever coached would say I cared quite a bit about how their lives developed and I will continue to watch them from afar.

The future is the limit for TWC. We are one of the top NAIA programs in the eastern US and when I was offered the position Coach Berry, my new head coach, he said the reason he wanted me there was to get over this last hump and recruit well enough to get TWC to the world series and compete for a national championship.

For me the end all is watching my players develop as people and athletes, and winning. I can't even begin to explain how pumped I am to start practice in Janaury.
