AAU 2008 Top Gun Winter Nationals

    Our 10u Carolina won the Top Gun Tournament in Concord NC on Sunday.
    Congratulations Comets for a great season. You young ladies did a wonderful job for a 1st year team. Keep working hard and good things will come your way. Congratulations coaches for a job well done.

    MSA Cobras win the 10u "A"

    The MSA Cobras out of Matthews won the 10u "A" bracket at the AAU Top Gun shootout in Harrisburg this weekend.
    They managed to defeat the Attitude in bracket play in a close well played game. The Attitude fought their way back to face the Cobras again in the Championship game and what a game it was The lead changed hands three times during the game and the Cobras were down by one in their last at bat. they tied the game and then managed to win it with a timely hit with two out, two strikes on the batter and loaded bases.
    Hats off to the girls on the Attitude they never gave up and just kept on coming.
    I know coach Ole and coach Shay are proud of their Cobra girls.

    WAY TO GO GIRLS - I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO 2009 - YOU ARE A GREAT GROUP OF GIRLS AND HAVE GROWN SO MUCH THIS YEAR
