Curve played three games on Sunday as well. Won 2 lost 1. It was COLD and WINDY! Fly balls were doing strange things along with the pitches.

Weather Throws The Curve A "CURVE"

Man what a weekend at Windy Va. Beach, looking at the climate data for Sunday we had winds gust to 40 mph on Sunday, and with a 56-60 degree temp. it was brutal, but we still managed to get 3 games in on Sunday after a dreary day on Saturday in the hotel watching Sci-Fi and hanging out with the crew !!

    Sundays Highlights:

Curve girls go to work on the first team @ 8:00 A.M. winning 3-0 against the Tornados with good defense and the sticks a little cold but still enough to get the win, then getting a break and the next game would be against the Sting @ 11:40 A.M.,the Curve girls came out again and put 8 runs on the board with T.J. Fain and Rebekah Reaves hitting H.R.'s.....the best for last would be against the Richmond Diamonds @ 1:40 P.M. this game went back and forth with both teams hitting the ball, and the score was a final 8-6 Diamonds over the Curve.....time to get in the car and look west toward that 6 hour trip, but other than the weather and a BIG disappointment about not playing on Saturday, we all had a great time just hanging with the peeps !!!
