    UNC tried Chad Flack at catcher in the fall last year, too. It's probably to stretch all their options at that position. Pratt is a heckuva athlete. If he was selected to play this position and worked hard at it, he would probably be All Conference at some point...he's that good.

    Pratt

    Pratt caught for me coming up through AAU but was needed in other posistions in HS. With some work he will do a good job back there he can def get it done. Pratt is working at 3B as well. Like Braves said he is a heck of an athlete and a great hitter so he will help NCSU no matter where they use him.

    smalling is recovering from tommy john surgery he had done on monday(8th). he is signed with vt and just getting some classes in.
