Drew Poulk has transferred to NCSU for baseball. Is this the brother of Dallas Poulk?

    Another Poulk?...

....nice. Dallas P. can flat out smash the ball. If his cuz is anything like him, lookout!

Side note: My DD told me today that she bumped into Tim Smalling, '07 NC HS player of the year, and most recently, the starting SS at Arkansas as a freshman.
Word is, Tim has enrolled at NCSU this year, BUT, headed to Va. Tech.

I hope Coach E can keep this guy at State.

Dallas is an outstanding player. However, Drew has a MLB bat. The kid can flat out hit and I predict will be a future star for the Wofpack. I'm sure he has circled the dates when they play the Tar Heels.

I wish Drew and his family all the best. The college journey can cause all kinds of twists and turns, but the only thing that matters is how you finish

    Smalling

Tim has signed to VT for this year but obviously has to sit out a season, due to the time of his decision he was not able to enroll in fall classes at VT he is taking classes at state this semester and should enroll at VT in the spring

    oh well

wow never thought about for your sit-out year you can take part of that one year at another school, not the one you will be transferring to. oh well, sounds like coach Avent has signed some very good prospects anyway.

    uh.

Avent has rarely had a shortage of talent that he brings in, but it has been a struggle for them to bring in a majority of talented NC players. The recruiting image has received a few black eyes in the past and it's not easy to overcome that image.

But the one's they do sign are very good players and great character.
