    Wanted to say congrats to Bommer and his family on his recent committment to Western Carolina.I have known Boomer since he was 5 years old and I know he has worked very hard to reach his goal of playing college baseball.Western is getting a great player and a fine young man as well,I am very proud of Bryant and wish him the best as he moves on to the next level.

    Congrats

    I have enjoyed watching this young man play the past couple of summers for the Canes. He is a fine catcher and he can really swing the stick. Good Luck and Congrats!!!

    Boomer to WCU

    Thanks, oldbbguy. You and the Frankster have helped along the way with all the hrs we've put in. He is very excited and looking forward to WCU. We would like to thank Coach Petty and Coach Collins, who Boomer loves playing for, for all the hard work and long hrs they put into the Canes program. Also, want to thank Randy Blue who saw Boomer at UNCP and like him enough to offer him a chance to play with the Canes.

    Great job Boomer... Congrats too you and your family. It takes hard work to make it to college baseball and even harder work to stay. Keep working hard and great things will come.

    Big time congrats to Boomer and his family. I have enjoyed seeing two things from this guy.....his big bombs and his big smile!!
